Position: Card Designers and Calligraphers
Duties:The Prayer Card team sends cards twice a month to people going through difficult times. Volunteers are needed to design cards and help with calligraphy. Cards can be designed at home on the computer or by drawing a sketch. Calligraphers write the person’s name on the card.
Dates/Time: The team meets the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at the church to assemble and pray over the cards before mailing.

Position: Hospital Visitors
Duties: Call on hospitalized members and others affiliated with Asbury to let them know we care.

Position: Resource Room Librarian assistants
Duties: Help to maintain the room that houses our resources for small group curriculum and RoadMap classes. Check in and check out materials on the computer, as well as help people find what they are looking for.

Frequency: 1 morning or afternoon a week

Position: Home Improvement Team Volunteers
Duties: Help Asbury widows and single moms with minor home repairs or improvements. Basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical experience a plus!
Dates/Time: Workdays remaining in 2008: August 16 & October 18 - 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Frequency: One Saturday morning, every other month
Location: Meet in the CLC at 8:30 a.m. for donuts, coffee & job assignments. Teams depart for job sites at 9:00 a.m.
Number of positions: Limitless. Requests for help exceed volunteer manpower.
