Altar Prayer - If you would like someone to pray with you during Holy Communion or immediately following the worship service, please come to the altar rail. A pastor or member of the Altar Prayer Team will pray with you regarding physical, emotional or spiritual needs, at the altar or in the prayer room.

Divorce Recovery - A support group for those suffering from the early, highly emotional stages of divorce and separation trauma) meets every Tuesday at 7 pm in Room 1335.

GriefShare - Tuesdays, August 26 – November 18, 7:00-8:30 pm, Rm 2314. Special weekly video series and support group for people grieving the death of someone close to them. Cost: $12 for workbook. Call 392-1191 to register.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast – Join us in the CLC each Wednesday morning from 6:30-7:30 am for a great breakfast ($3), strong worship, an inspirational devotion and powerful prayer.

Women of the Word – Wednesday mornings, 10:00-11:00 am, Rm 2319. Providing women with an opportunity to examine the scriptures together. Led by Pastor Darlene Johnson.

Job Search Essentials Seminar – Thursday, August 28, 7:00-8:30 pm in the Parlor. A panel of professionals will address how creating an effective resume and pursuing networking are essential parts of a successful job search. Annual Singles Labor Day Picnic - Monday, September 1, 3:00-7:00 pm at Asbury. Bring your lawn chair, sunscreen, and favorite family-sized dish, dessert or drinks to share with the group. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided. Children of all ages are welcome.

Celebrate Recovery – Is there something about yourself you’d like to change? CR is a safe place! Every Monday night, 6:00-9:00 pm, for dinner, worship and small groups. All are welcome.

Asbury Singing Ambassadors is our senior adult choir, and we will begin rehearsals this fall on Tuesday, September 2, 1:00 pm in the choir room. Come join us for an exciting time of singing and fellowship if you are AARP eligible… or even if you’re not quite there yet!

Thriving Again! - Wednesdays, September 3 – December 10, 7:00 pm in Rm 2500. This scripturally based class, hosted by licensed counselor Jeff Rindt, features proven strategies for escaping the shame and hopelessness of divorce and renewing your faith in God and yourself.

UMW Luncheon - Thursday, September 4, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, CLC. "Asbury’s Early Years" will be presented by Pastor Emeritus, Bill Mason. Lunch provided for $6 per person. No reservations necessary and bring a friend.

Restore Hope Charity Golf Tournament - Monday, September 8 at Forest Ridge Golf Club. All entry fees benefit Restore Hope Ministries. Registration and lunch begin at noon, shotgun start at 1:30 pm, and awards banquet at 6:00 pm. Form your own team of four or be put on one. Cost is $125 (tax deductible). Wednesday Night Live - September 10 - November 19, 7:00-8:00 pm. For 4 years through 5th Grade. Music, high energy and a Bible lesson will encourage kids to learn about God’s Word. For more information, contact Amber Cox at 392-1171 oracox@asburytulsa.org.

Preparing for Adolescence - Wednesdays, September 10 - November 14, 7:00-8:00 pm, 5.6 Rm. Designed especially for sixth graders. Topics include puberty, romantic love, and identity from a biblical perspective. Cost is $7.50 per student for workbook. Registration forms available in the preschool/elementary lobbies. AARP Driver Safety Program - Friday, September 12, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Rm 2820. Anyone 50 years of age and older is eligible. Cost is $10 per person; register at 392-1191. Class requires at least 12 participants.

Dynamic Marriage - Go from good to great, mediocre to magnificent or hurt to healed! Eight-week interactive class. Tuesdays, September 16 – November 18, 6:30-9:00 pm, Rm 1507. Senior Adult Day Trip to Ft. Smith - Friday, October 10, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Cost is $50 per person and only 50 seats are available on the charter bus. Registration forms are available at the south welcome desk.

When you enter the hospital, please designate Asbury as your church.
