Asbury Exploration – Would you like to learn more about becoming a member of Asbury? Come to Asbury Exploration, Sunday, September 12, 12:15-2:15 pm, CLC. Lunch provided and childcare is available for 6 weeks to 12 years old. Call 392-1191 to register.
Celebrate Recovery - Real people dealing with real life challenges. CR is a safe place! Every Monday night, 6:00-9:00 pm, for dinner, worship and small groups. All are welcome.
Common Grounds: Friendship, Fun & Faith for Women – Tuesday, August 31, 6:30-8:30 pm, Family Room and Café. “Be a Friend – Get Real!” presents one woman’s testimony of how her sisters in Christ brought hope to her life. Panel and discussion follow. Childcare provided.
Upward Basketball and Cheer - For children 5 years (by 9-1-10) to 6th grade. Registration begins Wednesday, September 1. Eating Disorder Recovery - For individuals seeking support in the recovery process. Usually meets first and third Wednesdays, noon in Rm 1621. Next meeting is September 1. Bring sack lunch.
Metro Worship - Join students from all over the city for a night of worship. Meets September 1 and every first Wednesday during the school year, 7:00-8:30 pm, Venue 68.
UMW Luncheon & Program – Thursday, September 2, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, CLC. Hear Cindy Morrison, Emmy-Award winning TV broadcaster, share about how she successfully reinvented herself after corporate downsizing. All women invited. Cost: $7 for catered lunch. No reservations necessary.
Asperger Support Group - For mothers of children with Asperger Syndrome. Usually meets the first Thursday of each month, 7:00 pm, Rm 1506. Next meeting is September 2.

Other Opportunities
Military Connection will be collecting photos of ALL military personnel on Sunday, September 5 and 12, in front of the CLC, 9:00-11:00 am. Photos will be used to honor our troops both past and present at the Boy Scout Pancake Breakfast on November 6. Photos may be emailed to tsmith@asburytulsa.org.
Gazebo Cashiers – Two people are needed to serve at the Gazebo one Sunday, every four to six weeks. Sell Asbury merchandise, prayer journals, Perceptions and other items before, between and after Sunday morning services. Good position for a couple or friends.
