Marriage can be difficult. Kids, finances, decisions. The pressures build up until.... If you need help, we offer referrals.
The purpose of Asbury’s Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the "Eight Recovery Principles” and “Christ-centered 12-Steps” based on the Beatitudes. Weekly meetings include a fellowship dinner, large and small groups, ending with dessert and fellowship. This is a powerful and exciting recovery ministry for anyone humble enough to admit to the effect of sin on his or her life.
Stephen Ministers are there for you to walk beside you if you are going through a crisis or struggling through a tough transition.
GriefShare is offered two times a year, and it is fine to begin at any point in the class. Special materials are sent to those who have lost a spouse or child throughout the first year of grief.
Asbury’s Divorce Support group uses the book, Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends, along with video media and print sources to guide interactive discussion in a circle of care setting to help participants rebuild their lives. Topics covered include denial, grief, guilt, rejection, anger, trust and others. The group meets each Wednesday for 90 minutes beginning at 6:30 pm in Room 1502, with male and female co-facilitators. New participants are welcome at any time. For more information, contact Jim Small at .
