Significant progress is being made on our Mission Possible project. Of course, we are experiencing inconvenience in parking and driveway access. Thank you for your cooperation and patience with the inconvenience that comes with remodeling and expansion. Fortunately, some of this will be restored to normal over the next month or two.
However, work will begin soon on the south portico. We will block off the entire south entrance for several months. During that time the main west entrance facing Mingo will be our primary entrance.
The new birth we will experience is far more exciting than the temporary pains associated with building. We are very excited about what this project means for our future. The impact will be huge for our children and youth programs. Adults and ministry areas will also benefit for years from what is being accomplished now. The new portico and the walkway from the chapel to the main facility will also protect us from adverse affects from the weather.
Thank you for all of you who are contributing financially to Mission Possible. If you have not yet made a pledge and would like to do so please contact our finance office. If you have any questions about the project there is a place on our web site to ask them.
I remind you why Asbury exists: "Glorify God and Make Disciples."
