Topping Out Ceremony

On June 18, 2020, we celebrated a significant milestone in our Better Together Campaign with our Topping Out Ceremony. “Topping Out” historically represents a Scandinavian religious rite of placing a tree atop of new building in order to appease tree-dwelling spirits displaced by construction. However, our “Topping Out” celebrated reaching a midpoint in our new student building’s construction – signing and raising the tallest beam to its final placement. We are excited to see progress toward fulfilling our Better Together Campaign’s mission of physically reuniting our students with the main Asbury campus. This would not be possible without your generosity, faithfulness and continued support to help others follow Jesus.
