COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

March 6, 2021

Every Friday, Saturday, from 03/06/2021 to 03/27/2021, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Address: Asbury Tulsa, 6767 S Mingo Rd, Tulsa, OK US 74133

Room: CLC

Asbury is proud to partner with Passport Health to offer COVID vaccination clinics on most Fridays and Saturdays in February and March. We are offering the Moderna vaccine.

While our February clinics were primarily first dose clinics, we are now shifting to second-dose clinics in March. Most slots are already full for the month because all February first doses were automatically scheduled into March clinics. We expected very limited openings in March.

Please check this website asburytulsa.org and Asbury social media for updates on any available openings. These openings may occur throughout the week and not just on Mondays as was typical for February. There will no longer be large releases of appointments at noon on Mondays.

You can check for any available openings on March 26 and 27 by clicking here.

FAQs for Asbury’s COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics in Partnership with Passport Health (updated February 28 for the March clinics)

Please read the following the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) for information regarding Asbury’s clinics.

How do I register for your clinic?

Most of the March appointments are already full because all February first doses were automatically scheduled into March clinics. However, any open slots will be made available through a registration link posted at asburytulsa.org and on Asbury Tulsa’s Facebook page. The link will only appear if there is the possibility that slots could be open; otherwise, the link will be removed. Feel free to check throughout the week for openings and cancellations.

Who can register for a vaccine?

The current eligible tiers now include anyone over age 65, K-12 teachers and adults with comorbidities.  The State list the comorbidities as asthma, cancers, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, chronic liver or renal disease, chronic lung disease, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure (hypertension), obesity, suppressed immune system.

Can I walk in on the day of a clinic to see if there are any openings?

No. You must have an appointment in advance, and no walk-ins are accepted.

Why is the Asbury/Passport clinic not listed on the State of Oklahoma vaccine portal?

Our partner, Passport Health, has been given doses to distribute directly from the State Department of Health. These doses are outside of the portal system.

Which vaccine is being offered at the Asbury/Passport clinic?

We only have the Moderna vaccine at this time.

If I received my first dose at Asbury, am I already scheduled for my second dose?

Yes! You are automatically scheduled in the same time slot at Asbury exactly four weeks after your first dose unless you were told otherwise. For example: If you receive your first dose at Asbury at 1:15pm on February 19, you will return at 1:15 pm on March 19 for your second dose. Please make every effort to be at your second appointment. We cannot reschedule a missed appointment.

Can I receive a second dose during Asbury’s March clinics if I received my first dose elsewhere?

Yes. Any available slots are available for second doses of the Moderna vaccine. Your first dose must have been Moderna, at least 28 days prior to the second dose, and you must bring your CDC card with you. Any open appointments will be made available at asburytulsa.org and on Asbury Tulsa’s Facebook page. We expect few available appointments because most of March is already scheduled with returning first dose patients.

Can I receive a first dose during Asbury’s March clinics?

No. We are not giving first doses in March because we cannot schedule you for a second dose when you leave. We do not have April clinics planned.

What if I am scheduled for a second dose elsewhere, but want to switch to Asbury’s clinic?

If you are already scheduled for a second dose elsewhere, we ask that you please keep that appointment. We realize the Asbury location may be closer or more convenient; however, rescheduling to Asbury affects both Asbury’s and the other location’s planning logistics.

What about weather cancellations?

We will make every effort to keep clinics open. If an Asbury clinic is cancelled, we will do our best to reschedule it for another date and let you know by email, Facebook and our website. If you cancel your individual appointment due to weather (when the clinic is NOT cancelled), you will need to find another appointment at Asbury or another location through the regular means.
