The Encore Years for Empty Nesters

This new group is for those whose children are “grown and flown” or are on the verge of leaving the nest. As your children grow up, have you ever wondered – What is “normal” as I empty nest? How do I find myself again? How do I cultivate and navigate new relationships with my adult children and others? Can I discover new roles and passions?

Together we will learn to grab hold of a full life during our Encore Years!

At this meeting, Asbury’s Pastor of Young Adult Ministry, Melissa Ivey, will be leading the conversation on understanding young adult children. We will look at what they are experience and wrestling within this time and how you can walk with them through it. We will also explore and troubleshoot together tension areas during this transitional time in life as the relationship changes and shifts. The evening will be highly engaging and conversational, so come ready to discuss with other people in your same stage of life.

We will not serve food, due to COVID, however, you are welcome to bring in your dinner to eat during the evening! Guests are welcome, so be sure to bring a friend! Sign up today!
