Where do I even begin?

These three phone calls are essential after contacting your loved one’s friends and family – a local funeral home, Asbury and your loved one’s Asbury Discipleship Community. Each will have their own speciality to help you with details of planning a funeral or supporting you in prayer. 

How soon should services be scheduled?

The service should be scheduled at least three days after death in order to provide time for proper planning and to allow out-of-town guests an opportunity to attend. If cremated, you can wait as long as necessary.

• Monday – 1-3 pm
• Tuesday – 10 am to 3 pm
• Wednesday – 10 am to 3 pm
• Thursday – 10 am to 3 pm
• Friday – 10 am to 3 pm
• Saturday – 10 am to 2 pm

Asbury member: Provided - Facility, Coordinator, Sound Tech

• Pastor – $150 service; $200 service/graveside, Voluntary Honorarium
• Organist – $150
• Pianist – $100-$150, Individual fees may vary
• Soloist – $75-$100, Individual fees may vary
• Video – $250, created from pictures
• Song Leader – $50, if no soloist/pastor not comfortable leading congregational singing

Related to Asbury member:
