Pastor Stacy and Jim Sprinkle have been blissfully wed for 24 years and have three incredible children ~ Noah (son), Marshall Sprinkle and Sarah Davis (son and fiancé) and Alicia and Joshua VanDine (daughter and son-in-law).
Although she was born in Midland, Texas, Stacy grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma ~ truly an Okie from Muskogee! Being close to family and working at Asbury are prayers answered and fulfilled. God is so good! She enjoys spending time with her family, walking, loving on her dogs and an exciting, suspenseful movie.
She has served in ministry for Jesus Christ since 1986. She started her career in Stilwell, Oklahoma in Youth Ministry. Since then, she has led Children’s Ministries, overseen Adult Education, etc. in United Methodist Churches in Tennessee, Arkansas, Illinois, and North Carolina. Most recently, she has been the Pastor of Bronte United Methodist Church in Bronte, TX. She brings 30+ years of experience in recruiting, training, equipping, empowering, encouraging and leading others in ministry for Jesus Christ.
Her ministry comes from the heart and she is a down-to-earth person for sure. “The world needs to see real life Christians living real life” and “God is still on the Throne!” are just a couple of Stacisms.
Pastor Stacy is passionate and enthusiastic about loving God and loving people! She enjoys nothing better than seeing God move in people’s lives and the joy of empowering others in ministry. Her desire is to “lead with love”!
One of the Scriptures that God has highlighted in Stacy’s life is Zephaniah 3:17 ~ “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”
She begins each morning praying Psalm 19:14 “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer” followed by “Lord, I hope I make You smile today.”
Pastor Stacy’s primary roles at Asbury are in Marriage, Women and LifeCare ministries along with pastoral care. Need a HUG, a PRAYER, a SMILE, or a good LAUGH … come and see Stacy. God’s JOY is her true gift!
