Asbury Senior Adult Trip - Amish Dinner and Christmas Lights Tour

Village Travel Bus departs from Asbury’s northeast parking lot at 3:15 PM on Tuesday, December 1, 2026. Arrive 30 minutes prior to departure to board the bus. Return to Asbury at approximately 9:00 PM.

Amish Cheese House—we’ll head out to Chouteau and make our first stop at the Amish Cheese House. Plan to stock up on holiday treats along with savory and sweet baked goods. We also have an Asbury member who is providing a large ice chest for those who wish to purchase frozen items.

Amish Dinner at Fannie’s Country Cookin’—Our second stop will be the anticipated family-style Amish meal which will include two savory meat choices, tender homemade chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, and other goodies including homemade rolls. And of course the meal will be topped off with a choice of delicious homemade pies. Whole pies will also be available for purchase.

Honor Heights Park in Muskogee—With our bellies full, we’ll head to Muskogee singing Christmas songs on the way. Honor Heights Park’s annual Garden of Lights includes animated displays and over 1.2 million shimmering lights amid 130 acres of trees, bushes, and water areas, all decorated for the holiday season.

Jolly Lane Lights at Admiral Twin Drive-In—More Christmas cheer with trivia and music as we head back to Tulsa to experience the newly expanded light display at the iconic Admiral Twin Drive-In. Jolly Lane includes over a mile of twinkling lights as they change colors and dance in sync with your favorite Christmas songs. We’ll also get to experience an animated light tunnel, a 60 foot tall tree of lights and more!
