Jesus, drawing on the Old Testament prophet Isaiah, says that there are two kinds of people:

People who use their ears and actually *hear* the gospel message and people who don’t.

The people who don’t use their eyes and ears and heart to respond to God might as well be stone statues.

But the people who actually *hear* the gospel? Jesus says the results will be shocking. In a good way.

“Do you have ears? You need to use them."
