Has your child taken interest in music? Invest in their newfound passion by joining Asbury’s beloved tradition – Children’s Music Program! We love encouraging your children to make a joyful noise unto the Lord, while teaching valuable fundamental skills in both vocal and instrumental music. Your children may love it so much, they continue onto our Middle School Handbell program, too!
Children's Choir
Children's Choir meets Wednesdays during the school year, and is for children in grades Kindergarten-5th. Children are taught music fundamentals in a general music classroom setting which includes singing, playing instruments, and learning basic musical skill through games and other activities. Children's Choir also focuses on learning to use our gifts to worship God, learn Scripture and share God's love. Children perform in worship at Asbury several Sundays a semester, and at special seasonal events.

Summer Song
Just because our Children’s Choir takes a pause during the summer, doesn’t mean your child’s love for music does...hence the reasoning behind Summer Song – a five-day, fast-paced, performance-based music camp for fourth through eighth graders that happens a little later this year: July 14–18, 2025 from 10 AM – 2 PM. Attendance all 5 days is a requirement, due to the intensive and fast-pace learning environment. Kids will receive singing, dance and drama coaching from our staff and volunteers. At the end of the week, there will be a wonderful musical performance at 6:30 PM in the Asbury Sanctuary celebrating God’s love for us! (Attendance at the Friday Performance is required for all participants.)
