LIFECARE MINISTRY

Supporting your family through life's ups and downs is at the heart and soul of Asbury's spiritual DNA.

Since Asbury's early years, late Pastor Bill Mason would drive up and down Tulsa's streets, personally handing out Sunday bulletins and inviting the community to church. He was known for his many hospital visits and often mistaken as a doctor at local hospitals. When Pastor Bill said he was in, he was ALL in....investing in entire generations of baptisms, marriages and funerals. His example has shaped how we care for you and your entire family here at Asbury.

Whatever your family is experiencing – grief, depression, divorce or addiction – we understand life's difficulties has no age or gender boundaries. Our 100+ volunteers are here to serve you physically, mentally and spiritually by visiting you in the hospital, holding your hand, providing a listening presence, crying alongside you, praying over your family and staying by your side through anything your family endures.

Funeral

At the time of death, you will need to make two phone calls:

  • The funeral home. There are wonderfully skilled and caring directors throughout the Tulsa area.
  • Asbury. Call 918.492.1771, and let the person know who answers the phone what has happened. If you call after our core hours, then you can leave a message with Sheryl at 918.392.1144. On weekends or after hours, you can reach Sheryl at 918.381.5659.

For your convenience, Asbury has developed a guide for Memorial Services.
