Tom Harrison

Senior Pastor

Office: 918.392.1113

Serving as the Senior Pastor since 1993, Pastor Tom Harrison’s ultimate goal is sharing the greatest message ever told. In fact, each year he loves to take people to Israel to experience the Holy Land firsthand. He has led 17 trips over the years and says, “Each time I learn something new and come back to Asbury energized and ready to share the Gospel.”

Pastor Tom has served in ministry for 41 years - 25 years at Asbury and 16 years at smaller churches all over Oklahoma including Vici, Sallisaw and Sunny Lane.

Pastor Tom speaks from his heart and believes that when he talks to the congregation, it’s like talking to his friends or to “friends he hasn’t met yet!” One of his greatest joys comes from visiting with members: “I like hearing what God’s doing in their lives and when they come to Christ. I feel privileged to be a part of the process of changed lives.”

He also loves to share stories of hope and encouragement through his “Perceptions” radio spots which reaches thousands of northeastern Oklahomans each day. These “Perceptions” radio spots, are compiled each year into a volume that are available for people to enjoy. He has authored 18 volumes and sells them for $5 every December.

Tom’s pride and joy is being “Pops” to his four grandchildren, “Dad” to three children, “Husband” to Dana since 1979 and “Brother” to Allen and his late sister Kathy. Tom is an avid history/biography buff and is also known as the St. Louis Cardinal’s biggest baseball fan.
