As the Senior Adult Ministry Coordinator, Betty Logan assists with creating a vibrant ministry and vision within Asbury’s older adult community.
Betty loves everything from horseback riding and stage acting to listening to a broad, eclectic range in music – Tchaikovsky, classic Broadway musicals, and 50s/60s pop – just to name a few. Betty, alongside her departed husband Jim, considers their biggest achievement to be raising two children, Geoff (Director of Incarnate School of Arts in Hungary) and Dara (retired Army Captain and current social worker), to love and serve Jesus.
Betty’s note to Asbury: “My husband Jim, was known to many Asbury Communities as a passionate Bible scholar and teacher. I am grateful for the kind comments I still receive about his impact on you and the joy of learning God’s glorious Word. Jim has gone on to receive his reward, but I want to thank all of you who have taken time to share your appreciation for his joyous gift of teaching. May we all continue to grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior by spending much time in The Book!”
