Office: 918.392.1144
Also known as Sheryl ‘Bob,' Sheryl Martin is Asbury’s Traditional Worship Coordinator. Not only does she manage all of the administrative duties of the music department, she also serves as the worship leader for 8:00 Chapel service. Since 2012, she has served as the Event Chair for the semi-annual international handbell conference for advanced ringers and has taught handbells on the local, regional and national level. In fact, Sheryl’s favorite accomplishment was using a handbell performance as an evangelism tool on an Estonia mission trip.
Sheryl is extremely proud of her son, David Cochran, who is the Curator of Fish and Invertebrates at Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, CT. She enjoys spending time with her dad, older brother, younger sister and her dog Sheldon. In her downtime, Sheryl also loves reading, putting together puzzles, playing board/card games, crocheting and listening to her favorite hymn, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.”
