Asbury Church invites parents to a two-day parenting conference with Keith McCurdy—a licensed counselor who has guided 15,000+ families over 30 years and speaks to schools and leaders nationwide.
Keith will start with three core ideas:
- Why healthy struggle outperforms gentle parenting—and how it actually prepares your kids for real life
- Why character, not happiness, is the goal—and how pursuing it leads to less anxiety and depression in kids
- How to reset the baseline on screens—putting the internet, social media, and AI in their proper place as tools, so kids grow into more creative, capable thinkers
From there, he'll get into the real-life questions parents wrestle with: building a strong marriage—and what to do when you and your spouse aren't on the same page, or when you're parenting as a single parent; helping kids navigate friendships, dating, and relationships; the case for classical education; and more.
Together, we'll name the real issues, the principles behind them, and practical strategies you can start using at home right away.
